This iron is an answered prayer. I have long, curly, frizzy hair, that used to chi flat iron take me over an hour to blow dry straight. Not to mention the ton of products I had to put in it so it would stay that way. I was very skeptical about this product, but based on the reviews I read at Folica.com I dicided to give it a try. Boy!!! I'm I glad I did. I wash my hair and let it air dry, or I will put it in a braid and let it dry that way. At night when I come home (or the next morning) I will let my hair down, which by now has dried into a frizzy curly mess, and I can make it pin straight in very little time. Ever since I got this iron a month ago, I get all kinds of compliments about how beautiful my hair looks. Not to mention the shine; it is incredible.

A good friend offered to flat iron my chi flat ironhair with her CHI and I absolutely loved it. So much that I decided to buy my own and have been using it for almost 3 weeks now. I have naturally curly hair and my curls are very tight. I only flat iron my entire hair after shampooing it and it will last me until the next wash. I do touch ups around the crown. My hair is soft and silky and my hair looks 3 inches longer than when it's curly! I have gotten so many compliments. Best investment on my hair! i've had this straightener for a little over a year and it was working great up until about 4 months ago the light started flickering and going off unless the cord was in a certain position. and about a week ago it total just stopped working all together. this has also happened to my other friends. i wouldn't recommend purchasing this brand of straigtener.
