I love my new flat iron i have had it for aboutchi flat iron a month and would recomend it to everyone. its great and heats up very fast! I rated the Chi 5 stars because my last Chi lasted for more than four years. It finally stopped working last month so I bought a new at Folica. I use it and my hair feels nice and silky after I use it. For the price that Folica sells authentic Chi's it's a steal! My niece uses my Chi as well and she is of half black half asian decent with thick coarse hair and it makes her hair stick straight as well, Quick tip: DO NOT WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE IRON ITSELF!! That's how my last one broke and any hair stylist will tell you as well. That also goes for blow dryers but that's beside the point. Happy ShoppingThi straightner is probably the dah best straightner i've ever used!!!It is so really easy to use and works great on curly,wavy,etc.. hair.I've had mine for over a year andit still works as great since the first day i got it from folica Also, some people say that their chi starts to stop working quik but that is only if yuh dont take care of yurr starightner that means detangling the cord if itz tangled and stuff lykk that... ohh and myne has fallen wen i went to mexico lyk 2 times overtheir in the hard floor but it still works perfect!!!so yeahh defenetily worth yurr moneyy
